| South East Regional Bagcat Championships 2006 |
After the first weekend of competition at the South East Regional Bagcat Championships its been a successful opening campaign from the clubs swimmers.
On perhaps the best day of the year so far and with conditions within the pool complex stifling for swimmers and spectators alike, Holly Ralfe 12, and Luke Smith 14, blazed a trail of fine swims and high placings in their races, showing why they are on British swimmings world class start program.

Holly was particularly impressive winning two championship titles in the 200m IM and 100m freestyle. She was also 2nd in the 400m freestyle, 100m and 200m backstroke and the 400m IM. Finally Holly grabbed 6th place in the 100m butterfly. Luke powered his way to 2nd place in the 400m IM, 400m freestyle. He was also 3rd in the 100m butterfly and 5 th in the 100m freestyle. Michael Stanley 14, continuing his fine recent form came home in 3rd place in the 200m and 400m IM , and a 6th place in the 100m butterfly.

Guy Hewett 13, swept into 3rd place for the 100m butterfly, and Elizabeth Grealish 10, kept fine form to grab 4th spot also in the 100m butterfly. Completing the 100m butterfly success was Helen Robinson 13, who swam into 6th place. Helen also came 4 th in the 100m freestyle. Her younger sister Caroline 11, manage to grab 5th place in the 400m IM and 6th in the 200m IM. Aleks Krunic 14, completed the weekend with 5th place in the 200m and 400m IM, and also came 6th in the 400m freestyle. |
Finally their were fine swims and a number of pb's from Elizabeth Wells 12, Bethany Seaman 10, Nicole Prosser 11, Becky Everest 11, Danielle Ingleston 12, Cydney Martin 13, Natalie Moore 13, Ben Walsh 13, Ben Watson 13, Jacob Gainey 13, Louis Moore 11, Michael Lindsay 11, Liam Drew 11, and Ryan Powell 13.
