East Invicta Development Gala results Pdf file downloads: Day 1 | Day 2Club AGM The annual general meeting of CCSC is being held in the party room at Kingsmead at 7.30 on Monday 3 June. Your opportunity to hear reports on the past year and plans for the future, elect the new committee, and ask any questions. Please make an effort to attend, and volunteer to help the club if you are able. More on the news page. Training changes Monday 13th May to Monday 20th May inclusive: no morning training for any groups, training as normal in the evenings and land training as normal. Forthcoming galas, including Dover Whitecliffs Entries close on 20th May for the Dover Whitecliffs level 4 meet, which takes place on 29-30 June. More information here. Entries close for the Welsh Nationals on 12 June. See the competitions page for info on all our fixtures. Medley Madness! Thanks to all who helped or took part in the Canterbury Medley Madness Gala. Full results are now on the ASA rankings webpages, and also available from the gala webpage and on Meet Mobile. Future meets at Kingsmead - we are planning a repeat of the successful Christmas gala, possibly on the weekend of 21-22 December, and Canterbury and Dover's joint Icebreaker gala is likely to be on 11-12 January 2014. CCSC on Facebook, Twitter & Blogspot CCSC news and announcements are shared on the club Facebook page. We are opening up the club Twitter account to cover breaking news (including from galas) as well as urgent announcements. Those of you who have set up to get SMS text alerts when a club Tweet is made may want to turn this feature off now. If there is demand, we could set up a new Twitter account for the urgent alerts such as pool closures. Follow CCSC on Twitter. The City of Canterbury SC blog, which features occasional blogs from meets and training, is at http://marlins-canterbury.blogspot.co.uk/. This is not often updated, but we may use it again to keep us up to date with the April training camp. Beginners' lessons The club offers learner and improver lessons for children from five years old. Courses start from £45 per term. Details from Debbie Woodard at the pool on Monday evenings from 6.30 pm or email ccsc.membership@gmail.com. On Mondays Levels 1-5 use the small pool at Kingsmead from 6pm onwards and Level 5 courses run from 7pm on Fridays in the main pool. These sessions are term time only. Levels 6-8 have sessions in the main pool on Mondays and Fridays, with a session covering starts and turns on Sunday morning from 7 to 8am. These sessions continue through most of the holidays, along with the main swimming squads. Dates for the summer term of 2013 - half term: Monday 27th May to Friday 31st May - NO SWIMMING. Swimshop The Club swimshop is open at Kingsmead on Monday evenings from 6.30, stocking a wide range of swimwear and equipment at good prices, as well as operating a swimwear sale and exchange service.
