CCSC on Facebook and Twitter

CCSC news and announcements are now shared on the club Facebook page.

We are also using Twitter to pass on updates to training times and important anouncements.

Go to the CCSC page on Twitter, create a Twitter account if you don't already have one, and follow the instructions to follow CCSC via the web.

You can also get text alerts on your mobile as soon as they are posted. To set this up, you need to join Twitter if you haven't already, then go to Profile and click on "Set up mobile notifications". Once you have this set up, you need to click the phone icon on the ccscmarlins Twitter page.

Swimshop

CCSC members qualify for a club discount at www.simplyswim.com. To claim a 10% discount on anything at Simply Swim, just enter the code SVC22 into the online checkout.

The Club swimshop is open at Kingsmead on Monday evenings from 6.30, stocking a wide range of swimwear and equipment at good prices.  Or see Louise Fry or Debbie Woodard any other times.

Swimwear sale and exchange

Do you have unloved costumes/trunks that we could help you to give a loving home to? Bring along labelled costumes/trunks (must be in good condition) and we will add them to the £5 bin. When sold, you will get £3 and the swimshop will get £2. This will get the swimwear out of your hair and help boost club funds. Or when you bring yours in, you can exchange it for another of similar quality.

Performance Swimming In East Invicta

See the eXcel page on this website and the East Invicta ASA site for more information.

eXcel has had a successful first competition at the SE ASA youth and age group regional championships and four CCSC swimmers represented the club at the Nationals.

Results online

We are now using 'Team Stats Online' to make CCSC swimmers' times available. This service shows best times and gala results from the last four years. See this page for how to view your times, or use this link to go direct to the database. (Don't forget after clicking the Times link for a swimmer to change the "Course" option box on the left from Yards or you will not see any times!)

Beginners' lessons

The club offers learner and improver lessons for children from five years old. Courses start from £45 per term. Details from Sarah Humber-Kelly at the pool on Monday evenings at 7p.m. or email ccsc.membership@gmail.com.

On Mondays Levels 1-2 use the small pool at Kingsmead from 6.30 to 7p.m. and levels 3-4 from 7 to 7.30. Courses for levels 5-7 run on Mondays and Fridays, and there is a session covering starts and turns on Sunday morning from 7 to 8.

Your club needs you!

Our club always needs volunteers, officials & committee members - just speak to any member of the current committee if you think you can help in any way, even just occasionally.
